1.  Seminary Intern, Shannon Meacham, invites everyone to her Ordination
Service on Saturday, June 25, at 2:00 p.m. (central time) at her home
church:  The Presbyterian Church, 1005 State Street, Bowling Green, KY.
Pastor Judy will be preaching and Pastor Ken will also participate.

2.  As most of you know, Beulah is trying to find housing for a young Korean
woman, Chanmi Park.  To date there have been no volunteers.  Chanmi is in
need of a place to live from June 20 through July 21.  Chanmi is participating in an internship program with the purpose of experiencing worship and church music in America.  Here is some additional information that might make your decision a little easier: Chanmi has her own transportation and her English is good.  You do not have to cook for her.  What she really needs is a place to put her head and her belongings, as well as a welcome that says “my house is your house, feel free to put your food in the refrigerator and cook as you need” or “I’ll be cooking Friday night and we’ll eat at 6.  Let me know if you can be with us.”  There should be very little work involved in having Chanmi in your home.  Please see Pastor Ken or call the church office if you can meet this need.

3.  Effective June 15, 2005, Heeja Han has joined the staff of Beulah as
Director of Cross Cultural Ministry.

4.  Ben Blake, a trained Commissioned Lay Pastor, has also joined our staff
as a summer intern.  Ben preached last Sunday in Pastor Ken's absence.  In
addition to preaching, Ben will be helping with pastoral care and  worship
leadership for the 2005 summer months.

5.  Pastor Ken and Terry Hargrave will return from Montreat on Saturday,
June 18.  Pastor Ken is preaching this Sunday.

Health Updates:
1.  Mildred Jones was discharged from Audubon Hospital on June 15.
2.  Martha Stepro is home with pneumonia.  I spoke with her and she is
making progress and feeling better.
3.  Makenna Jo, infant daughter of Matt and Shelly Leach, is doing really
well!  She now weighs 4 lbs. 5 oz.   Hooray!!!  She is still hospitalized at
Kosair.
4.  Susan Rock continues to struggle with MS.
5.  John Smith will have colon surgery on June 30, at Baptist East.
6.  Chrissy Puffer, daughter of member, Marie Fledderman and sister to Megan
Puffer, will have surgery tomorrow in New Orleans to correct a deviated

Please remember all these folks in your prayers.
