CE Commission to Host Pancake Breakfast . . . On Sunday, March 21, at 8:30 a.m. followed by a special class called "The Gospel According to Beads" for youth and adults. Bracelets will be made using beads that represent stories from the Bible. There will also be a class for children using beads. These classes will be spiritual and thought provoking. This will be a great event! Mark your calendar today!!!!!


ELL (English as Learned Language) Class will begin again on Monday and Wednesday evenings, March 1 through April 7, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ramsey building. Volunteers are needed for teaching, providing meals, and child care. Heeja is also in need of a coordinator for this program. If you can help in any of these areas, please talk with Heeja Han, 239-3231.


Are you interested in taking an Adult mission trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, July 11-17, 2010? The cost is $120 and will cover food, lodging, and group activities. The Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is seeking volunteers to help with hurricane recovery work. High school youth are welcome to join this group. Please talk with Terry Hargrave if you have interest in this trip.


Beulah's Book Club resumed on January 13. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the church library. All are welcome. The reading schedule is as follows:

Presbyterian Community Center VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - The Presbyterian Community Center has volunteer opportunities.
1. Receptionist is needed from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Volunteers can work any day or as many days that are convenient for them. Responsibilities include answering the telephone and taking messages, and greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate department. Basic computer skills helpful but not required.
2. Volunteers are needed to make telephone calls to supporters. Names, telephone numbers, and script will be provided. This activity is part of our Annual Compaign. Days and hours are flexible.
3. Volunteers are needed to enter names and addresses of supporters into our Donor Database. Basic computer skills are needed. Days and hours are very flexible. Contact Irene Spicer at 584-0201 ext. 137 - spicer@pcclouisville.com.
